The
Eleventh Mo-Kan Regional Council Eagle Award was presented to Matt
May, KC4WCG.on October 10, 2026 at the 2026 ARRL Midwest
Division Convention, known as SPARK-CON in Sedalia, Missouri. |

The
Trophy Plaque reads:
In
recognition of outstanding effort and meritorious service toward
the Art and Science of Amateur Radio which has brought credit
and success to the Amateur Radio Community in the Kansas City
Region.

The
Citation on the Certificate reads:
"KC4WCG
- Matt May has been the coordinator for the Metropolitan Emergency
Communications Council, (MECC). Through his experience, Matt has
provided continued efforts, both professionally and as a radio amateur
by way of his guidance, example, and leadership in Emergency Management
and the Amateur Radio Emergency Service in the Region. Matt’s
recent role as a focal during the 2026 FIFA World Cup contributed
not only to the success of the Amateur Radio Community, but to the
continued Public Safety in the Kansas City Region." |
